Almost a new year

Well what a year it's been. For the new year I'll need a new tv, some furniture-I'm thinking a couple of loveseats and some bean bags for the kitties-and a roommate that like sweetheart cats

Sluggish

It's not really cold outside, but my fingers are cold, my feet are cold, and my nose is cold and runny. AND it's 7 am

Christmas

How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways....

Apparently I work all year just to spend a regoddamndiculous amount of money buying presents.  It'd be awesome if instead of having to worry about make everyone happy with visiting relatives and buying stuff, we got to enjoy being with those we love and focused less about what's under a stupid tree.

Way to go fucking up a holiday, capitalism.

I'm sure Jesus loves it.

Not stopping

I don't care if I cry all day long all week, I'm going to have a good time next week or die trying. Whatever it is can just die in a fire cause I'm still on vacation damn it!!

Comfort

In my pain, I find comfort. That blinding, stabbing hurt gives me strength. This leads to a quote fron Nietzsche, that I'm not going to post. But it did lead to these entertaining quotes:

To be ashamed of one's immorality: that is a step on the staircase at whose end one is also ashamed of one's morality.
Friedrich Nietzsche

The "kingdom of Heaven" is a condition of the heart - not something that comes "upon the earth" or "after death."
Friedrich Nietzsche

Morality is the herd-instinct in the individual.
Friedrich Nietzsche

When marrying, ask yourself this question: Do you believe that you will be able to converse well with this person into your old age? Everything else in marriage is transitory.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Rejoicing in our joy, not suffering over our suffering, makes someone a friend.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Ordinary morality is only for ordinary people.
Aleister Crowley

Philo's

I believe this quiz isn't accurate... I bet it listens to crappy music, too.

What Philosophy-In-A-Nutshell Are You?

Nihilism
You are nihilism! you belive in nothing. Really, nothing at all. You probably hold athiestic beliefs, think there is no afterlife, and downplay the importance of morality, eithics, knowledge and basically everything that every other school of thought holds dear. Good luck with that.
